Sonja Van Breda

Sonja van Breda Lavor grew up in South Africa before moving to Germany in 2007. After studying Education at the Pädagogische Hochschule in Freiburg she continued her studies in England and South Africa. She taught at a private school in South Africa for several years and when she moved to Germany she began teaching English to children at English Garden. In her free time she enjoys being with her children, reading and singing.




Anna Elmtouni

Anna Elmtouni moved to Freiburg from the U.S. five years ago after completing a B.A. in German and English Literature at the University of Wisconsin. In Freiburg she teaches English to children and adults and for the past two years she has been teaching children at English Garden. In her free time she enjoys playing the piano and the French horn.




Anna Stockitt

Originally from Great Britain, Anna Stockitt moved to Germany in 2001 and completed an MA in British and North American Studies at Freiburg University. She also studied English and teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL). For many years she has taught English to children and adults and has been a member of the English Garden team since 2009.




Yvonne Corbett

Yvonne Corbett originally comes from Ireland. She trained and worked there as a primary school teacher before moving to Freiburg where she now lives with her husband and three children. She has worked in the field of English language training for many years, teaching adults, teenagers and children in the Freiburg and Emmendingen area.
